Jen joins Lewis Silkin from the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), where she was Director of Consumer Protection.
In this role, she led various high-profile investigations into breaches of consumer law as well as heading the regulator’s Online Choice Architecture programme. Additionally, on secondment to the Digital Regulation Cooperation Forum ("DRCF"), Jen oversaw projects to optimise cooperation on online regulatory matters between Ofcom, the ICO, FCA and CMA.
Prior to joining the CMA, Jen practiced as a solicitor specialising in commercial litigation, before serving in the government’s Office of Fair Trading and advising on regulatory issues at the Office of Rail and Road.
Jen’s arrival further bolsters Lewis Silkin’s almost 50-strong Digital, Commerce and Creative team, which provides a full suite of advice including on route to market strategies, intellectual property deals, business process outsourcing, media rights and consumer regulatory compliance and investigations.
