Concerns over political changes were raised last week following Labour’s controversial decision to scrap its £28bn green investment plan. The change has raised questions over what other flagship policies Sir Keir might U-turn on.

James Davies says businesses repeatedly state that they “can work with the rules as long as they know what they are and they’re not changing all the time”, adding that the UK is still expected to be a “relatively benign legal environment in which to employ people” if Labour comes to power.
