About

I have extensive experience advising a range of regional, national and international employer clients on various contentious and non-contentious employment law issues. I am dual qualified and practise in both Northern Ireland and England & Wales. I also regularly provide content and training to external organisations and education providers such as Legal Island and Ulster University.

I assist HR, management and in-house legal teams with a range of day to day employee relations issues, such as poor performance, ill health, disciplinary and grievances. I also provide advice and guidance to clients on redundancy exercises, contract and policy reviews, senior employee exits or the transfer of employees under TUPE.

I have particular experience in representing clients at all stages of employment tribunal litigation, covering various complaints such as unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing and equal pay. I advise clients across a broad range of sectors, but have particular experience with those in the retail, telecommunications and manufacturing sectors.
