Our manager training is designed to give your managers greater confidence in the key areas of employment law which they face in their management role. The Manager Academy is based on our popular Essential Employment Law for Managers course but aimed at businesses with smaller teams of managers, who do not want a full course to themselves.
We run this course at our Chancery Lane premises in London, in a group setting with managers from other organisations. This enables you to send a single manager or a number together on the same course.
The day will cover the most important topics facing your managers on a day-to-day basis:
- Handling disciplinary proceedings
- Managing poor performance
- Handling grievances
- Equal opportunities and diversity
- Dealing with sickness absence and disability issues
- Family rights and flexible working
The training is practical, lively and interactive and weuse real examples, case studies, group discussions and filmed material to bring the issues to life. Managers aregiven the opportunity to ask questions and discuss the issues with our specialist legal trainers, Lucy Hendley and Pia Sanchez. Cost
The cost of this one-day course is £400 per person (or £350 per person if you are sending along more than one manager for the day). The day runs from 9.30am until 5.00pm and your managers will receive a comprehensive pack of materials to take away and use for future reference.
