In a world where data is now at the forefront of most organisations’ minds, Lewis Silkin is setting up an “In-house Data Club” where we will invite in-house counsel/ data protection specialists to attend regular round table discussions on the latest data issues.

The sessions are to be based at Lewis Silkin and will usually take the form of informal discussions over breakfast so they don’t take too much time out of everyone’s day although there may be the odd lunchtime or evening session depending on availability.

Our first session on Wednesday 22 May will be “The GDPR - a year on”. We ask that you aim to arrive for 8.45am for a 9:00am start. Breakfast, and plenty of coffee, will be provided throughout. We will aim to finish by 10.30am.

The sessions are intended to be interactive and a forum to share experiences with your contemporaries in an informal Chatham House style. Of course being lawyers the sessions will not be completely devoid of structure and we will choose a topic for each session as a starting point for discussion. We also intend to invite guest speakers in to share their experiences.

We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible. If you have any queries, please do contact our events team.
