As we go into the end of the year, we will review recent trends, decisions and guidance and focus on:
- Any update we have on Schrems II – What are regulators saying? What is the European Commission saying? What are clients doing?
- The implications of the new European Data Protection Board Controller/Processor & Joint Controller (finally!) Guidance
- A brief word on the continuing rise of “class actions” in the UK (and across Europe)
Our In House Data Club, for in house counsel and data protection specialists, is intended to be an interactive discussion forum to share experiences with your contemporaries in an informal Chatham House style. We appreciate that this may not be as easy on an online platform but please do feel free to use the chat function to ask questions or share any insights.
