Employment status is the hot topic of the moment, with various legal challenges being brought in relation to the status of individuals working in the “on-demand” economy.
Meanwhile, the Government has initiated an inquiry into the future world of work with a focus on the status and rights of different types of worker.
Against this background, our workshop will take a practical look at employment status and how you can best protect your business against unexpected claims. We will use lots of case studies to illustrate the issues, and consider the potential scope for reform in this area.
Please note that this session is aimed mainly at HR managers and those with equivalent experience of dealing with workplace employment issues – but we’d be delighted to welcome you whatever your background or grounding in employment law.
