I am a Senior Associate in the Employment, Immigration and Reward division.

I advise on the full range of employment issues across a variety of sectors. 

My work includes negotiating the terms of settlement agreements, reviewing employment contracts and policies and advising (mostly employer clients) on a range of employee relations issues such as managing sickness absence and disciplinary and grievance procedures. I also assist clients with larger projects such as redundancy programmes and TUPE transfers. I have experience of Employment Tribunal proceedings, mostly relating to unfair dismissal and discrimination claims.

I am part of Lewis Silkin’s specialist investigations team and have conducted a number of third party investigations on complex issues (including, pregnancy and maternity discrimination and whistleblowing) for high-profile clients. 

I enjoy advising on “atypical workforce” issues and have spoken and delivered training on various atypical topics including, employment status and apprentices. 

I am increasingly advising clients on the Modern Slavery Act and issues related to transparency in supply chains. 


I'm a member of Lewis Silkin’s atypical workforce specialism group and have a particular interest in advising on unusual working arrangements such as apprenticeships, internships, agency workers and zero hours contracts. 

I am part of Lewis Silkin’s Modern Slavery Act advice team and provide training and advice to clients in respect of issues such as transparency in supply chains and company reporting obligations.  

I have transactional experience supporting businesses (and groups of businesses) with large scale redundancy and restructuring processes. 

I advise on the legal and practical implications of the TUPE regulations (for example, advising on the impact of a TUPE in an outsourcing situation and drafting and reviewing TUPE provisions in contracts). 

Professional Services

I have extensive experience in advising professional services clients (especially, law firms) on all aspects of employment law including:
  • health and disability issues
  • change projects (including reorganisation and restructuring)
  • family rights issues (such as maternity, adoption, shared parental leave and surrogacy situations)
  • performance management

Retail, Hospitality & Leisure

I regularly advise retail, hospitality and leisure clients on all aspects of people issues. In particular, I regularly advise these clients on restructuring and re-organising their business to meet the challenges/opportunities of the market.
