I am a Legal Assistant on Lewis Silkin’s immigration team and I have been with the firm since 2011.
I will qualify as a Chartered Legal Executive in late 2019 following completion of the final year of my training.
I also hold a degree in Linguistics from Lancaster University and, prior to my legal career, I spent 2.5 years teaching English in Italy.
Immigration & Global Mobility
I joined Lewis Silkin in August 2011 as an Immigration PA. Following various promotions and four years of studies to gain my professional diploma, I joined the team as a Legal Assistant in September 2016.
On a day to day basis, I advise clients on a broad range of immigration applications, representing organisations as well as private individuals. I commonly advise on spouse/unmarried partner applications under Appendix FM and EEA applications. I also guide clients through Points-Based System processes, predominantly under Tiers 2 and 5.
I have experience of handling complex sponsor licence applications, advising on the application process itself as well as training HR teams on sponsor management and compliance duties.
