Experience counts when it comes to development work and we have six decades of it: commercial; residential; mixed; private sector; public sector; and partnerships.
Development projects are complicated. We deal with issues without adding to the complexity. Keeping it simple helps deliver projects on time and on budget.
All transactions throw up issues that need to be resolved, some are easy to resolve, some less so. The trick is to spot the issues early enough so that they can be dealt with efficiently without throwing you off course.
Development projects require a wide range of expertise from planning to environmental protection, from property law to construction contracts. We're big enough to be experts in all these areas but small enough to care about every client and every project.

To consult or not to consult?By Simon Bagg , Paul Hayes
Simon Bagg and Paul Hayes discuss situations when a Registered Provider should consult.
Variations
In an ideal world you would never have to know about variations. An employer would tell a contractor what to build, the contractor would build it and everyone would be happy. However, construction projects are never that simple and often circumstances change during a project, resulting in changes needing to be made to the design or the way in which works are carried out. As a result of this, a building contract should contain provisions allowing an employer to instruct variations.
