The answer is, a lot! The Government seems determined to forge ahead with its plans to reform employment law, often in spite of misgivings expressed by both employer and employee representatives. We’ll take a look at recent and forthcoming legislative changes and court decisions, and the likely impact on your organisation.

A worrying trend emerging from the recession is an increase in the more subtle signs of workplace conflict. Bullying and harassment pose serious organisational problems for employers, and these situations require thoughtful and sensitive handling to prevent problems from snowballing. This session will clarify the law, investigate steps employers can take to minimise the risks, and identify the best way forward if things do escalate. We will be using professional actors to bring some of the more tricky issues to life.
