About

I have worded for a wide range of clients dealing with both employment and health & safety law issues. My particular specialism is advising employers on collective employment law and industrial relations. This reflects my interest in this field after previously been a shop steward in the nuclear industry before attending Ruskin College in Oxford, sponsored by my union, training as a lawyer and working for a firm representing trade unions.

My practice often involves me advising on business restructurings, outsourcings, closure of final salary pension schemes, trade union recognition, trade disputes and industrial action, as well as health & safety matters. My clients include those in the energy, car manufacturing, aviation, telecommunications and tech sectors.

I was head of the collective employment group at Lewis Silkin before I started working on a part-time basis. I now act as a consultant dealing with significant issues where my past experience assists the client in resolving complex issues.
