I joined Lewis Silkin LLP in February 2016. Previously I have worked as a planning partner at a large international law firm for 20 years and built planning teams in Leeds, Manchester and London, before setting up a niche planning practice as a sole practitioner in 2009.

Planning & Environment

I am a member of the Law Society's Specialist Planning Panel, a Legal Associate Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute and have been named in Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession for many years as a leading individual amongst planning solicitors in London and elsewhere. For a long time I have featured high in the Planning journal Planning Lawyers survey and was voted top in that National League Table in 2006 following work on the London Olympic Bids.

My landmark cases include the Rochdale cases on EIA, the Arsenal Stadium regeneration scheme, the London Olympic Bid planning applications and site acquisition strategy; a new stadium for Saracens Rugby Club and a major regeneration scheme at Cricklewood and Brent Cross.
