I am a highly experienced commercial technology lawyer specialising in advising technology-enabled businesses, whether multinational clients or start-ups on IT transactions, commercial agreements and privacy in EMEA and globally.

Transactional advice: I provide specialist advice to customers and suppliers, across a variety of sectors, on a broad range of complex technology-related commercial transactions.

Commercial advice: I regularly advise on services, supply, distribution and licensing arrangements, internet and other e-commerce issues in the European Union.

Data protection advice: I am highly experienced in advising multinational clients on UK, French and EU data protection, privacy and cyber security issues including on UK and multi-jurisdictional compliance programmes and audit projects

Currently I’m the only dual qualified TMT partner (France-UK), based in London. I regularly advise under both English and French law after practicing in several jurisdictions including Belgium, France, USA and the UK.

I have experience in telecommunications contracts and regulations, mainly advising service providers.

I am regular speaker at industry and legal conferences and I am well known amongst UK, France and EMEA General Counsels in Europe for my expertise. I am one of the Ambassadors of the FrenchTech London group.

I am a French Foreign Trade advisor regularly advising French companies entering the UK market.

I have been appointed Head of the Brexit Task Force at Lewis Silkin.

Technology & Digital

I have particular expertise in the Technology & Digital sector having specialised in IT contracts and sector regulation for over twenty years. I regularly advise on complex IT transactions including IT procurement and cloud outsourcing projects, acting for clients in both the common and civil law jurisdictions. I act for a majority of European, US, and multinational clients helping them negotiate with European partners and customers, advising on the forms of contracts that will work locally and guiding them through the labyrinth of EU regulation, including in the data protection/privacy area.

Retail, Hospitality & Leisure

I regularly advise clients in the retail and hospitality sectors on general commercial matters with particular expertise in related e-commerce and data protection retail tech issues, including franchise, supply, distribution and licensing arrangements; digital and other e-commerce matters; data protection and privacy issues; as well as other issues involved when commercialising new products or services in the European Union.

Financial Services

My clients include a number of banks, payment providers and IT suppliers in the Fintech sector. I advise both on commercial and regulatory issues including specific data protection and data security issues in the EU.
