I am a paralegal in the Employment, Immigration and Reward department. I graduated from France before completing the Graduate Diploma in Law at Cardiff University in 2014.
I am currently studying the Legal Practice Course part-time before starting my training contract in September 2017.
I assist fee earners from the Employment Department in all aspects of employment Law. My tasks can be as varied as proof reading, bundling, liaising with Chambers, research and drafting letters and articles. I am also a member of the French Desk and contribute to providing French buyers with advice on the specificities of UK employment law.
In my free time I enjoy coaching gymnastics in a local club, watching various sports on TV (especially gymnastics and tennis) and reading books both in French and English. I also love cooking and not only French recipes. Twice a year I go to France for a few weeks to spend time with my family and friends.
I mostly advise in the following areas:
- Assisting fee earners in any tribunal work: bundling, drafting documents and liaising with Chambers
- Managing international projects: liaising with various jurisdictions and coordinating billing
- Providing support to the rockhopper team
- Advising French clients on the employment law position in the UK during and post acquisitions (as part of the French Desk).
