I joined Lewis Silkin LLP as a paralegal in November 2015 and work across all areas of Property Litigation.
I studied at the University of Exeter, where I also volunteered with the Exeter University Community Legal Helpdesk, providing support and information to litigants in person and worked with the Bracton Law Society Prison Project, delivering presentations to prisoners in Exeter prison on the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, watching a new film or some form of sport, trying out a new restaurant or perusing the shops.
Dispute Resolution and Real Estate
I work across all areas of real estate litigation and am happy to assist with a wide range of client queries and matters. On a regular basis, I act for landlords on a number of housing and property related matters including:
- possession claims; injunction applications; disrepair matters; non-occupation; rent arrears recovery; shared ownership; non-succession; handling anti-social behaviour
- I also regularly advise clients on leasehold enfranchisement and in particular handle a number of lease extension claims under the Leasehold Reform, Housing and Urban Development Act 1993 on behalf of both landlords and tenants
- I also have experience and knowledge in taking legal action against trespassers and squatters; 1954 Act lease renewals; break notices; forfeiture proceedings and general termination of leases
