I joined Lewis Silkin in September 2016 as the paralegal providing construction support to the real estate team.
Before joining Lewis Silkin, I was the Paralegal in the Dispute Resolution Department at Berry Smith LLP, dealing in both contentious property matters and debt recovery. Prior to this, I was the Paralegal in the Construction team at Eversheds LLP in their Cardiff.
I completed my undergraduate degree at Queen Mary University of London, the GDL at the BPP Law School and the LPC at Cardiff Law School. Outside of work, I am a County Borough Councillor, which involves sitting on various committees such as Planning, Licensing and Employment Appeals, as well as attending events in my local community and assisting residents with their queries. I am passionate about volunteering, travelling and skiing.
- I assist fee earners in the Real Estate and Development Department on aspects of Construction Law
- I in-put into Facility Agreements and check Condition Precedents have been satisfied
- I review, report on and negotiate an array construction documents including, Building Contracts, Architect and Structural Engineer Appointments, Collateral Warranties and IP Licenses
- I deal with post-completion matters such the SDLT and ensuring that both Companies House and the Land Registry information is up-to-date
