I'm an associate in the Employment, Immigration and Reward department.
Previously, I worked in-house for an insurance company and latterly worked for a recognised national law firm.
I have experience in both contentious and non-contentious work acting for both employees and employers. My work has included mass settlement agreement exercises, drafting and advising on disciplinaries and grievances and contract reviews and negotiations.
I have extensive experience in Employment Tribunal litigation, including before the Employment Appeals Tribunal, having dealt with complex cases involving TUPE, whistleblowing, all forms of discrimination (focusing recently on pregnancy and maternity discrimination, sex discrimination and disability discrimination), automatic unfair dismissal and unfair dismissal.
In my role at Lewis Silkin, I support both employers and employees from various sectors on a range of day-to-day employment issues. These issues include contract and policy drafting and reviews, the negotiation and drafting of settlement agreements, advising on best HR practices and the resolution of discrimination complaints.
