Lewis Silkin has recently completed a reorganisation and acquisition for its client, United Agents.

Lewis Silkin has recently completed a reorganisation and acquisition for its client, United Agents, which is a leading agency representing authors, writers, directors, producers and actors in the literary, media and entertainment industries.

United Agents reorganised its business structure to become a limited liability partnership owned by the original agents and management, who founded the company in 2008. Hot on the heels of concluding the reorganisation, Lewis Silkin advised on the acquisition of AP Watt, the oldest literary agency in the world.

The Lewis Silkin teams were led by Corporate Partner, Fergus Payne, assisted by Sam Pennington and Carla Leonard. Fergus says “it has been a pleasure advising United Agents over the past few months and I wish them every success in consolidating their business following the recent reorganisation and acquisition”.
