After the excitement of the general election we are waiting to see what the new Government will do with employment law now it is free from the constraints of coalition, but there is still plenty to talk about in our regular review of topical developments. We will look at the practical effects of some of the more recent changes, including shared parental leave, Acas early conciliation and the new limits on zero-hours contracts.We will consider the latest position on holiday pay, changes to the tribunal process, and the Government’s plans for the future. There are also a number of important cases before the courts that may have a significant impact on the law.

Our regular review of developments will take look at all recent and forthcoming changes in the world of employment law. Keeping things topical, this will include our latest thoughts on the implications of Brexit. We will also discuss the finalised rules on gender pay reporting, any developments in relation to other proposals such as grandparental leave and taxation of termination payments, and the most important recent cases before the courts.
