In this session we shall discuss the key challenges that retailers face with the GDPR and also the opportunities that the GDPR may bring.

Our session will start with a basic introduction to the GDPR and a high level summary of the key GDPR issues of which retailers need to be mindful. We shall then focus on two key themes in the world of retail: transparency and personalisation and explore how these themes can both be promoted and hindered by the GDPR.

This event is the first in a three part series where further sessions will focus on whether your supply chain is GDPR compliant and data breaches and how to deal with them.
